Hi Comrades,

Southend High Street was filled with crowds wanting show their appreciation for what the boys had done in Afghanistan, I even got to shake the hands of some to say thank you, just a small token however.  I was close to tears when I saw the two wounded lads at the rear of the column, at the rear they may have been, but they "marched" with their mates with great pride.  We as a nation can be justly proud of these young men and women who work to protect our country, God bless everyone of them.
